AScribe is looked to by journalists for newsworthy information from credible organizations and sources. The AScribe wire is not a mechanism through which to broadcast opinions of individuals or information that is in any manner libelous or inappropriate for dissemination to the media. To maintain the credibility of its service to media organizations, AScribe reserves the right to decline any release based on the judgement of its newsroom personnel.

Your release will "hit the wire" within 60 minutes of our acceptance of your release and the validation of your credit card payment.

Q. Where will my release be sent?

News releases on AScribe's wire are sent into the newsroom computer systems of more than 75 major daily newspapers, including the New York Times, USA Today, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Dallas Morning News and many others. The feed also is sent to TIME, Newsweek, US News & World Report as well as other national news publications in such fields as the environment, education, science, medicine, and other public policy issues. News sent via AScribe is distributed to internet sites and online publications, and coverage often can be found on major search engines as well. Finally every news release sent via the AScribe wire is archived in the major international database services - LexisNexis, Dow Jones Interactive, Dialog, and Comtex.

Q. When may I send a release?

The AScribe newsroom is open to receive AScribeNOW! releases from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST. In an emergency, we will distribute releases at any time of the day or night.
